Nick Weaver Named Finalist for Club Person of the Year

We are incredibly proud to share that Nick Weaver has been named a finalist for Club Person of the Year at the Community Clubs Victoria Awards. This recognition is a true reflection of the extraordinary impact Nick has had on our community, and we couldn’t be more proud to have him as part of the Maryborough Highland Society family.

Nick’s dedication to the Maryborough community goes far beyond the walls of the Highland Society. Through tireless fundraising efforts, countless volunteer hours and a genuine care for others, Nick has helped raise over $350,000 for the Maryborough District Health Service Oncology Unit. That is a remarkable achievement that has made a real and lasting difference for local families facing some of the most difficult times in their lives.

A True Community Leader

From leading iconic fundraising events to supporting staff and community initiatives, Nick embodies everything a great community club representative should be. Humble, driven and always putting others first, he leads by example and inspires those around him to give back.

Being named a finalist for Club Person of the Year at the Community Clubs Victoria Awards is a well-deserved acknowledgement of the years of hard work and heart that Nick has poured into this community. We are honoured to celebrate this milestone with him.
