Celebrating Community Spirit
A massive shout out to the incredible volunteers from the Highland Society, the Maryborough Volunteers Group and Carisbrook Lions Club for donating their time in making another successful Highland Gathering. The dedication and hard work of these community members made this year’s event truly special.
The Carisbrook Lions Club members were absent from the gathering as they were busy organising feeding firefighters who fought the Harcourt fires. This selfless act demonstrates the true spirit of community service – stepping up when and where they’re needed most.
Events like the Highland Gathering simply wouldn’t be possible without the generous contribution of volunteers who give their time and energy to support our local traditions. From planning and setup to running activities on the day, every volunteer plays a vital role in creating memorable experiences for attendees.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this Highland Gathering another success. Your commitment to the community and willingness to help others is truly appreciated by all at Maryborough Highland Society.
