Investing in the Next Generation of Innovators

The Maryborough Highland Society is proud to support the 2026 Energy Breakthrough program, presenting $5,400 in funding to seven local schools. This contribution helps young students continue their journey of creativity, engineering, sustainability and teamwork as they prepare for one of the most exciting youth innovation events in the region.

Energy Breakthrough provides invaluable hands-on opportunities for young people to develop practical skills, build confidence and collaborate towards a common goal. Seeing local students embrace these challenges is something the club takes great pride in supporting.

Backing Local Schools and Students

With funding distributed across seven schools, the Maryborough Highland Society is playing an active role in nurturing the problem-solvers and innovators of tomorrow. The Energy Breakthrough program challenges students to think critically, work as a team and apply real-world engineering and sustainability principles – skills that extend well beyond the classroom.
