Celebrating Our Bistro Supervisor’s Outstanding Achievement

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate our Bistro Supervisor, Nick Weaver, who has been named the Central Goldfields Citizen of the Year at today’s Australia Day Awards. This is a truly deserving honour for a remarkable member of our Highland Society family.

Nick’s tireless fundraising efforts have now exceeded $250,000 for the MDHS Oncology Unit, delivering life-changing services for our community. His dedication has directly contributed to the new mammography unit, providing essential healthcare services that will benefit local residents for years to come.

What sets Nick apart is his unwavering commitment to making a difference. His passion, drive, and community spirit inspire everyone around him – from his colleagues at Maryborough Highland Society to the countless people whose lives have been touched by his fundraising work.

Nick embodies the values that make our club special: dedication, generosity, and a genuine care for the wellbeing of others. His achievement reflects not just individual excellence, but the spirit of community that brings us all together.

Well Done, Nick
